The 2024/2025 recruitment exercise has commenced, and applications are now open for various positions in the Superintendent, Inspector, and Customs Assistant Cadres.
Category A: Customs Superintendent Cadre (Console 08)
General Duty and Support Staff/Professionals
Requirements:
- Basic Requirements:
- Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
- Must have a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
- Should not have any history of criminal activity or ongoing investigations.
- Academic Requirements:
- A university degree or HND (Higher National Diploma).
- NYSC discharge certificate.
- Medical Requirements:
- Must be physically and mentally fit.
- Provide a medical fitness certificate issued by a recognized government hospital.
Category B: Customs Inspector Cadre (Console 06)
General Duty and Support Staff/Professionals
Requirements:
- Basic Requirements:
- Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
- Must have a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
- Must maintain a clean record with no criminal background or current investigations.
- Academic Requirements:
- Hold a National Diploma (ND) or Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) from a certified institution.
- Medical Requirements:
- Must be physically and mentally fit.
- Submit proof of physical and mental health from an authorized government hospital.
Category C: Customs Assistant Cadre (Console 03, 04)
General Duty and Support Staff/Professionals
Requirements:
- Basic Requirements:
- Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
- Must have a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
- Maintain a record free of criminal charges or ongoing legal scrutiny.
- Academic Requirements:
- O’Level (WAEC or NECO) certificate.
- Medical Requirements:
- Must be physically and mentally fit.
- Provide a valid health clearance from a reputable government medical facility.
