The 2024/2025 recruitment exercise has commenced, and applications are now open for various positions in the Superintendent, Inspector, and Customs Assistant Cadres.


Category A: Customs Superintendent Cadre (Console 08)

General Duty and Support Staff/Professionals

Requirements:

  • Basic Requirements:
    • Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
    • Must have a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
    • Should not have any history of criminal activity or ongoing investigations.
  • Academic Requirements:
    • A university degree or HND (Higher National Diploma).
    • NYSC discharge certificate.
  • Medical Requirements:
    • Must be physically and mentally fit.
    • Provide a medical fitness certificate issued by a recognized government hospital.

Category B: Customs Inspector Cadre (Console 06)

General Duty and Support Staff/Professionals

Requirements:

  • Basic Requirements:
    • Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
    • Must have a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
    • Must maintain a clean record with no criminal background or current investigations.
  • Academic Requirements:
    • Hold a National Diploma (ND) or Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) from a certified institution.
  • Medical Requirements:
    • Must be physically and mentally fit.
    • Submit proof of physical and mental health from an authorized government hospital.

Category C: Customs Assistant Cadre (Console 03, 04)

General Duty and Support Staff/Professionals

Requirements:

  • Basic Requirements:
    • Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
    • Must have a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
    • Maintain a record free of criminal charges or ongoing legal scrutiny.
  • Academic Requirements:
    • O’Level (WAEC or NECO) certificate.
  • Medical Requirements:
    • Must be physically and mentally fit.
    • Provide a valid health clearance from a reputable government medical facility.
